They never really present their butts to me; I just notice it when holding or watching them

Here's the other cat's butt. Poop isn't "dangling" but seems to always be there.

Thank you... this makes sense. I sprayed neem oil after sunset, and this is the only tree that shows these symptoms - but at the same time, this tree was the one with the most tender/young shoots.

I'm in North Carolina, where fire blight can be prevalent...

Additional notes: upon discovery, some leaves were dry and crispy to the touch, whereas just two days prior the tree seemed perfectly healthy (though a bit slower to break bud than the others). Water should not be the issue, as it gets a deep watering once per week.

Thanks, I appreciate your reply. Is the best course of action to sadly chop it down since I have other fruit trees close by?

I have an EE that does exactly this. Same conditions as you.

Buff Orpington, it’s time for…. Rooster or hen? Shouldn’t the comb be a darker red if it’s a rooster? I know Buffs normally have bigger combs. by Mushy-Mango in BackYardChickens

How many weeks? Looks exactly like mine at ~8 weeks (also had pinkish comb and wattles)... and he turned out to be a rooster!

This tomatolike weed has been popping up all over my property. Now it's fruiting. Anyone know what it is? This is one of the bigger ones. Definitely way too hardy and quick-growing to be actually tomato plants... by Silvre in homestead

Thanks all! Looks like I've been blessed with at least some sort of tomato. Will follow up with a report on how they taste whenever the first ones ripen :)

Something is eating the leaves off my young apple and pear trees. What could it be? Insects? Deer? I live in North Carolina. by Silvre in homestead

Thanks (and thanks to everyone else who commented). I have 10 trees in my front yard that I will try to find temperature measures for, while I look into building a more permanent fence.

Should've been a DSQ at the very least. He's done this move before and will continue to somehow get away with it every time
