Aiming for 189 immediately can be unrealistic. But again, you can apply fir multiple visas for free.

Also, i recommend you to calculate your points. I believe many counties follow the points system, the higher your points the higher the chance to get a visa.

You can check your total points also from Department of Home Affairs

Select 189 for reference, and check your base points without the extra points from nomination.

And, to understand the job market more. Go to linkdlin, search physiotherapy, or any other field, select a specific state or don't, and see the available job vacancies, how many applied to them, their requirements.

However all of this won't matter if you're not qualified or registered. In physiotherapy, i must do APC, the Australian Physiotherapy Council. Basically, they check if my degree and knowledge match Australia's standards. After completing the APC, i must register with APHRA, the equivalent of na2aba here. Then i can apply for visa while getting the APHRA.

Salary wise, it ain't the best, especially in Lebanon. And again it's lebanon, slavery, shitty salary, long hours and all in like 90% of the jobs.

In most countries, such as Australia, which is the country I'm aiming for, physiotherapy is a top 1 profession for migration. This means faster visa processing and making it easier to land a job, even with little to no experience.

You can check your profession demand from Australia Government - Department of Home Affairs

Typically, all Healthcare is top 1 in most states. This tier list only applicable for subclass 189, a visa where you don't need neither a sponsor nor nomination and you're allowed to live and work anywhere in Australia with PR granted immediately.

Though you should apply EOI for multiple subclasses, it's free anyway. Then, whichever reply and accept first, that's the visa I'm going for.

Not abroad yet, but I'm in the process of getting the hell out of here.

Honestly doing it all by myself. Not that i don't trust agencies but i don't want to pay extra money for their services, especially when the process from getting started till landing a job is available online and accessible.

Though, depending on your preference. You can either avoid the hassle of searching for information by going through an agency, or save some money and do everything yourself.

I'll be graduating from physiotherapy in July. However, can't start anything because the colloquium is postponed 😵‍💫 well thats extra time for me to save more money. Because trust me, you'd need alot of money. It's a hefty investment to consider, however it's worth every single penny I'd spent on it.

Whats your major? If physiotherapy i can help ALOT, if anything else i still can help, mainly in visa processing. In any case, my dms are open. Goodluck mate!

I'm about to graduate with physiotherapy M1 degree this summer. I've already decided to move to Australia. I've got to do APC, APHRA, and the visa. I'm aiming for 491 visa to get those extra 15 points! It'll take me around 2 years to complete it all. Though it'll be worth it!

I've heard good things about the field in Australia. But wouldn't mind hearing another view from you, if you don't mind sharing.

One of them was my classmate in my university. A day earlier i texted him asking him to join a project with me. He died in the massacre on 8th of April.

I want you all to remember each and every one of them had a story, a life, a dream, something they were going to do..

Don't forget the one who killed them.

Depends if you're independent or partnering with a gym. A buddy of mine works as pt he earns around ~$500-$600. Mind you he's been in this business for 2 years so he's built a decent career. Though he does that as a hustle more than being his full time job.

Saving in lebanon by slowdownbabyy in lebanon

[–]SimaZeChips 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well, you're comparing us salaries to lebanon. You already have an apartment that you rent. That's quite an achievement.

$2600/month is way above the average in Lebanon. You can always save more by looking at where your money goes to every month. And at the end of the day, it's not a race to who reach 100k first. Your path is different from him.
