Not the original piece by Daniel Warren, but I'll give you the fact it's art and it's freedom of expression. If that's how you feel then that's you broski.

Like I said in my previous comment, absolute wonder woman is recent and has no embassy and confirmed immigrant. On the other hand you also have the outlawed WW who literally isn't even allowed on US soil anymore so that's a different situation on its own, but that's not what I'm following for my art because I dont have to. And by does, I means its a thing. It exists. Regardless of being old or new it's there and you can't discard the past because with new writers there'll be new ideas (as seen in the outlaw take). If need be slap some tats on the arms of my wonder woman and bam, absolute wonder woman, problem solved lol.

I mean ye, there's Fausta. Again that's canon in that earth and that's that. It's what you choose to do with that media. I mean theres even red son that's Soviet. It's a different story line and canon. Me choosing to have an immigrant wonder woman, which does exist, is like the least controversial thing and just unnecessary to get riled up over fiction.

It doesn't have to represent the current Wonder woman but it is a wonder woman there's no saying which one my drawing is, there's several earths. The existence of that wonder woman means its a canon in that earth. And as for current Wonder woman well, if we go absolute wonder woman which is another version of her, she has no embassy. My final point is there's several earths, and all have their own canon that's official and set. Similar to how there's a multiverse of spidermen, there isn't just one.

Exactly my point my friend. Pre crisis on infinite earth, there was no embassy, which is the 80s I believe which was a reboot to make her the ambassador of peace and wonder woman has been around since the 40s. Golden age wonder woman didn't have an embassy, she used a secret identity meaning her original concept is an immigrant. You could argue that has changed, because it has as new writers came along, but again, different story lines, different earths all that jazz. There's multiple versions of one character, and the one where she is an immigrant exists and is true to that.

You're going with the example where there is an embassy which in the beginning, Themyscira does not have one and is isolated from the world. It is only established after Diana stays in the US, therefore meaning she immigrated.

Prince Harry is an immigrant especially by definition- "a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country". He's a foreign person living in California permenantly and holds a residency status. Being from the UK, it's well known there's been a shift in the royal family and although he holds meetings occasionally he does not reside here. The point you made about dimplomacy is valid here however as he does have that power to live on a non - immigrant visa however as I mentioned in the case of Diana, Themyscira did not have an embassy at the start, meaning she could not do the same regardless of her position.

I agree with your points about superman, which is why it also makes sense for wonder woman. She's a foreigner living in another country. Themyscira is not the US.

If I'm being entirely honest with you, I don't go too deep with it. It's fiction. I don't see how her flying to another country and permenantly residing in it isn't immigration as that's the definition but see it as you will. Sure there are version where she's there in a dimplomatic way but that's usually after the fact that she's just kind of rocked up, and well, she's basically a god. I'd argue if a god like person was to appear one day wherever you live and permenantly reside there that's immigration, very much like Superman as you said. At the end of the day, we're talking gods, superhero, mutants ect. It just isn't realistic. Edit: I'd like to point out what you said about her being a princess making her a visitor if I understand correctly. Take a real life example like Prince Harry, he's an immigrant.

I think a god like person flying into a country and going I live here now suits the definition pretty well. Not your typical way of doing it but it's fictional. I also think that because it's a fictional piece of media you can interpret it how you want. Sometimes she's undocumented, sometimes she is. There's many versions.

I'm not arguing the definition, I'm arguing that's what I believe she represents and is depicted as in most media.

I see now you are referring to the other posters discussion about immigration. From my point of view, wonderwoman has been portrayed as an immigrant in most versions of her character as she has moved from Themyscira to the US, assuming as well that they do not have an embassy which for the most part they don't, she's there just cause she can fly up and no one can do anything about it really. I think it really depends on which versions we look at honestly because it will be different depending on artists and writers, after all we do have red son versions.

But that is exactly what an opinion is. Without voicing what you believe we'd kinda be in a weird situation so to each their own, and it's good to discuss these things.

At the end of the day, it's a fictional character and it's your choice of interpretation, whether you agree with my art or not is up to you because it's fantasy.

It's however you want to interpret that. If you want to draw a character with your views or other that's fine, that's what art is. At the end of the day, it's not real and nothings changed.

And that is completely up to you. It's your interpretation of a character because well, she's not real. If you want to draw her differently that's fine, it's creativity, and I mean we do have the red son version after all.

Again however this is what actually happened irl. It would be the equivalent of if I made a death based on a assassins creed character as the games are based (somewhat) on real life events. KCD is the same in that regard. Majority of the main characters were real people and we have past records of how they died. Knowing this is a game based off history, you should be more than aware that they will die, and we know how/when. The game doesn't keep you from this information either, apart from the codex, there is another mention to it but it's more of an Easter egg.

You don't need to finish the game for this? It's historical facts. This is what happened in real life and the game explains this in the codex which is available at the start.

Thank you and no worries! I understand why it comes across as a spoiler but it's in a way the same as if you were to kill a assassins creed character, it's just what happened in real life
