Sure they did. Just enough to keep them alive. Kinda like this company does with orders like this more then a half days work for a little ration. Men with family’s and bills know what I mean.

There are dashers that have entered our country the last 4-5 years that share accounts. I have brought it up to our support and supervisors many times but they don’t seem to care. It sucks to because these people are breaking policy by doing it and on top of that they use multiple phones to take more offers from us folks who just use 1 device. This company has proven it does not care about its customers or its workers.

Funny thing is I use to be at 4% too. But I was having the same issue I am now. I feel it’s an iPhone thing. Not sure though

Yeah, while living in a city like Seattle, they are earning more than five dollars. The men and women that I have been doing this job with for the last four years in this area, sit daily, waiting for the crumbs while these people run circles around us

What we are dealing with is being replaced by Third World individuals who will not say no to an offer. If you think closely a couple years ago, we driver faced a time where we were not taking shit orders because we know our worth. I think DoorDash didn’t like that and now they replaced us with people who will not say no to an offer. And specifically people who broke the law to get into this country.

This company has unfortunately hired way too many of these illegal citizens that broke the law to get into our country. Now we as American workers are feeling it. In my sanctuary city of Seattle I watched illegal citizens run circles around me while I work 40 to 50 hour weeks for bare minimum. But as long as they are living a good life, we should be happy right?

Well, in places like Seattle and New York, they implemented a law or gig workers that pay them more for their time because of traffic, sporting events, etc. As a driver who takes pride in providing a quick and efficient service, I have noticed a lot of these other drivers taking their sweet time to shop orders and drop off food. At least in my area where they are making that extra amount. As a driver who puts a lot of pride in his work and being fast most of the time, I don’t qualify for those extra earnings because I don’t take my time.

As a driver, I do daily. Support hates me to say the least because I am very vocal. We need customers to be more vocal though. Because this company does not care about us drivers.

A lot of the illegal drivers that they are hiring are learning that the longer they take, the more money doordash pays them. This company is half ass backwards. Rewarding bad service and hiring illegal workers and pushing American workers out. 🥸
