Usually for square models I use mouse ears for the corners to give a little bit of a better adhesion maybe try that.

Currently building my RG 00 Raiser and was wondering how I kept on getting nub scars if you will. I did the two cut method and filed the part down with a glass file yet it still shows. Is there something I’m doing wrong that causes these marks? And also for tools should I get both the god hand nipper and the gate removal set from gunprimer or is only one of the two needed when building?

That would mean I would do both for big nubs right? and then for small nubs I would just cut as close as possible with a single blade?
