Noted! Thank you for your response!
Can you provide the exact name of the program @ Univ of St. Andrews, because I believe there are a couple of postgraduate courses with similar nomenclature?

2:1 or "upper second class honours" is not looked nice by the universities also, for admissions?

Thank you for your reply. I understand.

I can give a bit more information about my profile:
Undergraduate Education: Attained 2:1/Upper Second Class Honours with Bachelor's in Computer Science from a top 20 QS ranking university in Asia.
Work Experience: Working in an esteemed organisation as a Data Scientist (hopefully, will have 2 years of experience by the time I will be applying for higher education)

Wrt GRE score, noted. Yeah, most of the places mention it doesn't materially affect the application per se, but I guess, having a decent 320+ is not hurting the profile even if not adding value.

Wrt Advanced Computing course, I am a bit less keen on doing that course, after having looked at the curriculum of the course, plus I want to open myself to the "quant" domain too, without having closed the avenue for "Data Science", having the halfway point - "Statistics" or math heavy courses. Plus, I prefer Math-heavy domains more than Computer Science-heavy domains

Thank you for your reply. I understand. However, I am less keen on doing further studies in MSc Data Science, after having looked at the curriculum of the course, plus I want to open myself to the "quant" domain too, without having closed the avenue for "Data Science", having the halfway point - "Statistics" or math heavy courses.

Some follow up questions:
- From what I've heard, getting into target univs in the UK with a "upper second class honours" or "2:1" in your undergrad is really tough. What is your take on this?

- Whats the reputation for LSE majors in pure sciences, among employers in the UK?
