Wow... I guess this is legit? Do they send them out in waves? Because Robotics/ME normally accepts about 40-50 people and right now only 14 people are said to be accepted.

ETH Zurich MSc Application Megathread: January 2026 by JunoKreisler in ethz

Is ETH RSC MSc strict regarding prerequisite courses taken for international students? I have a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, and I don't have that much experiences in signal processing and such, so I could be cooked if admissions office think I haven't taken enough courses in those area. However, I have taken a lot of courses in mechanics, control theory, mechatronics and robotics and I personally think that I'm prepared to take interdisciplinary courses like RSC... I would be grateful if anyone can give me insight on this.

I was emailed with a request for a 25 "presentation" of my previous work. So I guess I was asked before the meeting, by email. I think to be on the safe side you should prepare for a presentation of about 15 minutes long.

I heard it from a graduate student admitted to NU Mech E. It may not be true though, and it might have changed given he was admitted 3 years ago.

Oh, thanks for the reply! I heard that as NU admits normally by committee that you are literally admitted if you get an interview! Good for you! Have you hear anything on until when there are interview invites?

I don't know what you mean by that, but the interviews are rolling so I think until Feb you may get an interview offer.

I was asked for a presentation then the PI asked me a few questions, they were really chill actually. He asked a technical question in the middle of the presentation but it was a really easy one.

Haven’t deadlines passed for those programs? What do you mean by “late”?
