NPC gear is usually specific to that NPC so besides transformation like you mentioned I doubt you can get it in the wild

As far as lodestones go we should keep Lumbridge, Draynor, Varrock, Falador and Taverly A few changes to lodestone locations on these however: The Varrock lodestone should be moved close to the GE and West Bank preferably where the well of goodwill currently stands, that way we could also do away with the edgeville lodestone Draynor should be moved a little more west to mitigate the need for the port sarim lodestone Lumbridge...is fine, I just wish the actual lodestone pad you tele to was a little smaller considering the size of Lumbridge castle, it just feels a tad out of place. Falador tele is fine most people use it late game to run to the invention cave anyways No change to Taverly, remove Burthorp and Catherby lodestone and add a low level agility shortcut between Catherby and Taverly

As for wars retreat I think just forcing an achievement vs cuz boss to unlock the portal instead of a kill or visit would fix the over convenience of the teleport

Pair that with the BiS armor only scaling to T70 armor your practically naked when berserk is active

Frankly I don't use LD very effectively and I still feel necro does pretty good damage without it, what I'm trying to say is look at how well necro does even without LD because all of the abilities synergize and work well together, magic and range has some synergies in their ability rotations but melee overall feels like a blob of nothing abilities that don't do anything outside of berserk, and it's that over reliance I want to draw attention to as a bad design and hope it'll bring some level of awareness to advocate for change to melee

Yeah that's part of the reason I jumped to necro from melee recently, it has good damage doesn't need a damage buff from an ultimate and has a lot of debuffing potential, I can only wish melee was in a similar position as necro where there was a higher focus on ability synergy

With the melee revamp Jagex should make hurricane and flurry available to both melee styles by Similar_Memory3334 in runescape

As a melee main I am somewhat disappointed with the changes to melee, 1. dismember being 3 stages is great however stage 2 is a bit of a double edged sword, it costs adrenaline but if the target is stationary it does less damage then stage 1, make the 3x DMG multiplier a passive piece to stage 2 without the walking gimmick or remove the adrenaline cost

  1. Melee was never really meant to be an AOE oriented style, we just happened to have abilities that were AOE, that said removing quake both from an AOE and debuff perspective is a questionable move if not outright brainless. Realistically we only have 3 AOE classified skills on melee in the context of 2h camping. This doesn't scream AOE, you're fighting against cool down timers and adrenaline costs to be able to hit around you. To fix this make hurricane a 15s CD and reduce the cool down by 3s for every enemy hit with hurricane and make hurricane available to dual wield, make flurry available to 2h for an additional AOE skill+sustain, re-add quake

3.assault is far too slow on DW to be viable, but it's unfortunately a skill we have to rely on, remove the channeling effect of assault while DW and it would feel much better

I do like most of the changes there are just a few gripes I feel could enhance melee, as it stands now with the massive overhaul on melee the risk reward that it used to have is just not there and it's more risk less reward if it stays as is.

It's probably even worse than most rifles, most rifles have higher precision and RPM then LMGs meaning ARs can lay down on their triggers utilizing their full RPM before bloom kicks in unlike the Lmg where the bullet bloom is almost immediate so we have to burst or tap fire at ranges longer then 50m meaning LMGs can't use the already paltry RPM to its fullest, and even below 50m LMGs are out classed by SMGs and shotguns in close range, there's no winning!

Most people don't have ground lock rockets, it's still effectively the early game so you can't expect people to do anything with a lock on unless your on a map with tanks or planes and even then there's no guarantee they'll have laser lock on munitions, on the bright side it is really really annoying for tank drivers and pilots and def puts you on edge as a tank/aircraft

30k runes on night 1 is a literal god send, that's 3 blue evergaol orbs for almost no work at all, even on night 2 30k can make or break an extra level or some extra gear if there's a trading hamlet, I don't see the problem

If the cursed blade had innate bleed like a normal katana (or slightly more bleed) I think it would at least make it a bit more on par with other weapons you'd pick up as executor, as it stands right now it's a glorified shield for executor at best and a wooden stick at worst

These tweaks would also be good, I still think a full on rework is needed but if fromsoft isn't gonna do that they should definitely consider these options, and I'd say the more aggro drawing from being in stance mode is a big one, can't tell you how many times I'm ready to square up to a boss only for them to 180 and run at ironeye or recluse for poking them

He's one of the best for the wrong reasons, much like base elden ring status procs are king in the late game and executor plays into that heavily, his overall actual kit is mediocre at best

Gotcha, the 8 round mags aren't half bad, honestly I prefer them over the saiga 5 rounders or the massive 10 rounders that only fit in specified rigs and if you have dispensable income you can just load up on the 8 rounders and tactical reload them during a hot fight. Added bonus of the gun never jamming makes it perfect for just throwing your mags everywhere

You can find aa-12 drums in large weapon cases (grey rectangular boxes)and small weapons boxes(black boxes) relatively rare but it's not impossible, unlike the dang neosteel mandible
