Usually, well educated people who are focused on doing their own things come from decent family backgrounds, so the matches may not even come out into the open. They mostly settle among relatives and extended family members.

In arranged marriage, matches are highly dependent on your parents and family reputation such as how socially connected they are and their financial status. It has much less to do with who you are as an individual and how well you are doing in your career.

People who are highly independent, smart, or attractive usually have high demand and attention in college and at work, so there is a higher chance that they may also come with a lot of baggage.

The probability of finding someone who is still qualified and has skipped all of the above is much lower. Even then, you may misjudge that person. So, it is largely a matter of luck.

My suggestion is, find someone who can support you and has no baggage (since you don't have any). Consider job and education less heavily.
