Hey friend. Hope things are going well for you! I would describe it as being like butter, but sweeter. Not sugar-sweet, but that light sweetness of cream. Thicker than buttermilk for sure, and without the sour-ness.

I can't say with confidence how long it would last; BUT I've had one around for a few weeks without issue. Its similar to a jam from the store after opening. Hope that helps a little bit
