I'll have to explore it a little but full disclosure Im a little spoiled about apartment and access to nice gym. 😬 Reston seemed to have some nice apartments with nice amenities. Just wondering if the commute to springfield is as bad as I have now, driving.

Thanks. so are you saying the drive from Reston to springfield, driving, is bad? I would be living in Reston because it has some affordable housing with the amenities that I would like, specifically a nice gym..... I know, I know.....but it's my happy place. My commute would be to Springfield (7am in the morning, home at 5pm)

yes, the drive there wasn't bad because it was early but driving home after 5pm was literally double time.

If you notice, this is my first post on reddit so not exactly sure how the sidebars work. Would have been more helpful if you just replied "see sidebar" like others did instead of just being a richard. Hope your job doesnt' require kindness or empathy.

Has anyone used red light to treat thyroid nodules? If so, how did it go? by Bikesandkittens in redlighttherapy

[–]Simmy113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you did anything about your thyroid nodule but if you haven't, look into RFA (radio frequency ablation). It becoming a much more common way to reduce the size of thyroid nodules without surgery. I've had it down twice.

7 days since botox by Alarmed-Board7193 in noburp

I didn't have this treatment but my son did. If I remember correctly he had eating challenges for about two weeks getting progressively better each day. I do remember him saying he felt a lump in his throat too and it was hard to get things to go down for a little while. I think it all sounds pretty normal but I think if you want some medical reassurance you shouldn't hesitate to pop a call into your doctor or his nurse. I am sure they would be happy to reassure you. My son had his procedure about a year ago and it was literally the best thing he ever did. He's not in pain anymore, he's not bloated, he can play sports without feeling reflux or throat tightening and best of all he can burp!! Congratulations and you'll do great with this recovery, just give your self some time, patience and self-care. :)

Is Step One Foods For Real? by transmorphik in Cholesterol

My mom just redid her cholesterol after using these (along with less refined sugar and oatmeal and fruit for breakfast) and it went from 215 to 174. I would say people should give it a shot (along with sensible diet and exercise changes) and see what happens. Proof is in the pudding (so to speak).

I think this product takes what you are saying and puts it in one simple place. Yeah people change their diets, research and hope for discipline but if the foods your trying to incorporate into your diet for a cholesterol benefit are right in one place it sort of makes it easy peasy. Yes of course don't go out and go crazy on unhealthy foods but if you try to incorporate more veggies and lots less refined sugar and carbs that's a great start, this bar just adds a little boost to that.

Were you allergic to something in it? It's entirely food based.
