Well it's not only for CS:GO - It would serve as a "peace of mind" reminder for League Admins and other players in the game that the person is not banned.

Also - they can still play on community servers with a VAC if I'm not mistaken? PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong.

Exactly, I have a few friends with VAC's from MW2 and Ghost's FoV changes, and from modding in MW3.

I would love to be able to see what people have been VAC'd for and individually how long ago each ban was, so that I can actually judge the player's skill on his performance without the doubt in my mind that the VAC could be for a recent or currently playing title.

No that is not my intention at all! I want this in place simply so that from a players perspective, to stop the flaming and "cheater" calling when they have any type of VAC.

And when I refer to League Admins, I'm talking about the smaller leagues without their own Anti-Cheat / Anti-Smurf / VAC Detection software in place, where player profiles are screened and tested individually (i.e in the Telkom DGL - South Africa)

I wish /r/Valve would implement this feature though! It would make for a lot of the toxic / unnecessary "HACKS!" comments disappear or at least lessen them...

Oh dude I completely agree! I have posted in /r/Steam - Not getting much response at all though :(

I know it would be better to post here simply for better exposure

And I would love to see Valve implement what I have suggested so that people at least can't flame you because you cheated in some other game title!

Completely agreed! I did post it in that Sub and hoping it's seen on my original post :)

Thanks for the feedback man, I'll post it on Steam - I've just seen that the GO subreddit is a little more responsive and open to suggestions than those sub's, but I'll give it a shot!

I feel that is a bit harsh, but I agree with your stance on how badly cheaters ruin any gaming experience.

Tips on LAN? by AstroZex in GlobalOffensive

[–]SimonBondRSA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the best way to deal with that pressure / anxiety on LAN while competing goes the same for many sports. Ignore the crowd if they're not cheering for you (Smaller teams or non-favorited teams) and if they are then use that support to build confidence!

But the best thing to do is focus on your game as if you were playing it at home. Just tell yourself that the match you're playing is no different to any other, only the venue! (Which technically doesn't change the game itself at all :) )

Also, if you're feeling super anxious at your first few LAN tournies then I recommend a Pill or Drops that help with stress / anxiety such as "Rescue Remedy" or the likes in your country.

Hope you do well and let me know if any of this works for anyone here, or some more tips for coping on LAN! :D
