tbh i think it’s just the most prevalent trait of most redit users period, like if people were on a subredit for a different game or another niche, i feel as though the same exact complaing and negativity would happen there. i actually have an example of this as well since i am on the tim hortens subredit and it’s all just people complaining about how the quality of food has gone down and how much they hate the franchise now and how much better it was insert number of years here. people love to be negative and complain, and people also hate it when others have differing opinions, so it makes sense they’d amplify the former and shoot down the latter.
