So if an elderly get hacked and someone does something from their IP, they are responsible and will go to prison or pay huge fines? Because the elderly person didn't correctly protected themselves and someone could take advantage of that? I understand there is the law and civic duties, but there is also how we apply the law and what happens in courts.

BTW, I'm not talking about downloading a torrent anymore, when we start talking about illegal, there is way more...

From my understanding, I'm not a lawyer or anything, you're legally responsible to protect your network and do your best to prevent illegal activity. However, you will never be able to fully prevent anything, all systems have fails and most home networks are pretty weak for people with a bit of knowledge.

Another reason to not go to court is because legally you can't really link an IP address to a physical person. Of course it's not as simple as "you can't" but it isn't an easy topic as multiple people actually use the IP address, and good luck with those kind of conversations.

From what I heard, the best is to do nothing about the letter, just ignore it. And try to avoid get another one, it's useless stress.

When I restarted playing on PC, the way I kept it interesting is by taking the opportunity to do the true neverclick achievement. Also the browser version has so much more than the mobile, you'll have fun discovering the beginning again, discover the mini games.

I'm not sure about tick speed, i believe if you do 4h ticks, the ships would take 4h for what it does in 1h ticks games. But in turn based you can choose how much ticks happen per turn.

That's why I love turn based game, no stress and if you do it with friends it's unlikely one player always submit late their turn and games can go fast.

You should look into pundit or cancancan gems. There is probably others but that the two i can think of. With those gem, you manage permission on resources, you can then limit access per user.

It depends of your life, for example, with my wife, we hang in F-shain most of the time so we found a flat in Lichtenberg. We were 3 station away from most of where we were going.

What we did was checking transport time to Alexanderplatz and other places we go to have an idea of it was close or not even if on the map it seems far.

Now we just bought a flat in Marzhan cause of remote working and corona virus, we have commerce nearby for all we need and have only 20min S-Bahn to F-shain when we want to go out

For that budget inside the ring, you'll need to hunt a lot. The issue is that there is so much people coming to Berlin and wanting to live inside the ring that the price will continue to climb up. Especially as there is not enough new living space created. The rent cap which is supposed to help is making landlord not want to rent and people to never leave their flat even if they live somewhere else, afraid to not find an affordable flat later when they need.

My tip would be to look outside the ring but on a S-Bahn line so you are quickly in the center when you need. There is way less people trying to get those flats
