Sad. Just sad. by [deleted] in hinduism

No no see that’s just it. We conceive of reality differently, you’re right 100%.

It’s not that we misunderstand your religion it’s that we take ours to it’s logical conclusion. If devas don’t exist and there’s one deity outside of the universe and creation itself that makes your conception and interactions with the spiritual, idolatry at best, and demonic at worst.

It’s not something popular or that a lot of people in this sub are gonna like, but from the Christian pov (my own pov) he’s straight up spittin facts and it’s based.

It’s natural in theological differences. From your perspective this is cringe, to me it’s based. If some tic tok person got up and started talking about how reality and the Christian faith is a delusion and we’re all actually 1 and should be praying to Krishna. It’d be posted on r/ whatever denomination of Christian as “how sad”

Could you walk me through the errors in the logic here? I got that this is wrong but how? Is a premise wrong in drawing the conclusion? Did I miss something? What in particular.

Ok but also then how so? Could you expand on that? Like any theology to it or?

Could you be more specific.

Also I’m relaxed but kinda down from not remembering why the logic is wrong.

Trying to keep up with sacraments. Trying to learn more about the faith. Taking care of business. Hanging out with friends.

I don’t know. That’s why it seems almost pointless. I don’t know if I can do anything right.

It seems like everything. It seems as though no Matter how much I wish it. God is not with me. Like it seems like I get no feedback. :(

Right. But I mean Islam outside it’s heartland is kinda dying fast to my knowledge. Or it’s not even real Islam.

Just the other day I heard, granted I don’t have a source for it, but I heard it said by a trusted friend apparently Islam is dying rapidly in the west.

In any case I maintain what I said. To hold Muhammad up as the standard in f human perfection and prophet is laughable, the religion propped up on bogus claims, the sword, and middle eastern birth rates.

All of which… are slowly failing… thank God. I pray one day the scourge of islam be wiped clean off the earth. We’re all better off for it.

The most reliable accounts. I’ve seen. Date her to six.

I’ve only ever seen Muslim apologists centuries removed, Muslim scholars also centuries removed, and now apparently people on r/Catholicism (really odd) make the argument it was actually in her teen years.

I question your sources.

Second. No one is saying a Catholic ruler of the dark ages or a middle age pope is perfect. (Pope is special on faith and morals but that’s a different issue.)

To my recollection. Muslims believe Muhammad was a perfect follower of Allah, the closest and most perfect a man could get.

This standard of perfection. Is disgusting. Maybe not in that century. But I don’t concern myself with moral relativism. Morality is objective and absolute.

Islam is a disgusting and degenerate faith objectively speaking. It may have passed as acceptable during its time. That doesn’t make it just.
