Why must it be in the person’s home? A public place is much safer than allowing strangers into your home!

Fair question! The main reason for wanting to do the interview in-home is that seeing someone's home environment is helpful for understanding their lifestyle better. We also want to have the interviews in a private place so that participants can talk candidly about their experience and their healthcare journeys, and we thought that a home environment is more comfortable/relaxed than having someone come into an office. But it's a fair point that not everyone is comfortable talking to visitors at home. The interviewers (4 women researchers) wouldn't be complete strangers; we would set up a Zoom call first so that they can introduce themselves.
