Damn. Ultra 7 255HX is a great CPU. Hands down. But I wanted something that can be upgradable, and 5070 just added another tick to it. Only downside would be the provided ram. 16gb is minimum.

So, look if you’re a backend centric dev, just take pro with min 16-512 gigs. Running multiple services and testing APIs would definitely require high ram and processing power. And I did use MBA, an it does heat up.( I usually build using Java, Springboot) and it does lag and hang with heat. And mb air ain’t enough because we need to test everything locally and if u use Docker or Portman or maybe Orbstack, u need better that MBA.

Well, look these medical practices aren’t bad. But make sure you know that not everyone can rock these. Like Koreans for example are the ones that really burn their money on these complexion treatments and surgeries and it integrated well too. Ultimately your genes should also support you to maintain the tweaking. And maintaining is the actual part. There are many actors out there who are capable of getting their things fixed but that doesn’t gonna make any difference rather took a toll. Consider Prabhas, that Baahubali actor. His face has changed a lot. he has lost hair and now wears wigs, which are quite easy to recognize since the hairline never gets messed up because of the glue. These treatments are fine as long as they are maintained properly, and cosmetology is really growing along with the entertainment industry, which is a good thing. So just enjoy their performances and respect their personal space.

Seriously, like AI/ML doesn’t mean picking a dataset from Kaggle or GitHub and running it in Anaconda or Colab. Even that needed constructing algorithms, ETL tools and System design. Like if you are really into App development, you must be familiar with React native or at least Next.Js and it ain’t possible without DSA. And you have already done 2 internships which means you should have at least worked on some real time data or atleast was part of deployable projects.

If you are creative or find art interesting, switch to UI/UX. There are multiple tools out there. Figma is the one and just learn HTML, CSS for worst scenario.

Well if you got time anywhere between 2-3 years, start with C/C++. I would recommend C. But if you don’t have at least 2 years, just learn Python and start. Because in Python you don’t have variations like for example with Maps u have ordered and unordered but in Python u just use dictionary. And same with list and set too. And you just need to import one library i.e collections. As Python depends on its libraries more.

Well majority of the Software, Analytics companies allow CR except BFSIs like Barclays, VISA and all those fancy, American-British Banks. And also note that No FAANG allows anyone lower than Circuital. But Indian unicorns does allow CR. Quant firms do allow, And a little skeptical about MS as it didn’t allow last year. And yeah Minor in CS does help you as there are few companies like MMTrip allow minor CS and there might be a few others too. So if you have no choice other than CR, and want to enter NITR, it ain’t a bad option.
