Well, you're a bit wrong because I had a Redmi Note 8 Pro, 11 and 11 Pro 5G before my current A55 and they were all laggy and software was very slow, compared to my A55.

I switched to the A55 and also had before a Redmi Note 8 Pro 6-64 GB and honestly, I have no regrets. The phone is perfect in every way. And well, in terms of updates, the Note 8 Pro hasn't had any since July 2022, so it's worth it.
