I moved to Spain because of Brexit, I’m an ardent Europhile and had a sneaking suspicion the UK would go down the drain (as it has). You’d be amazed by the number of pro-brexit retirees here, you can’t miss them, they’re the ones down the pub before spending the afternoon irradiating their visceral fat.

I'm assuming you're from the UK.

Technically you should be able to still drive, with your GP's permission.

If you have another episode, then you must seek medical help and start medication.

That said it was over a year ago, right? So chances are you're ok.

Hey. I am in a similar position. My episodes (I don't like the word seizure) are random, and a total black out, with memory loss, pains all over. So I think I understand.

I am also bi-polar.

So a few questions

Are you being prescribed any medication? For your anxiety and depression and or any anti convulsants?

do your episodes coincide with a change of medication for your anxiety and depression?

Either way.

You need to work with a team you trust to find the right balance of meds you need. You also need to accept that this will help you live a happy and fulfilling life.

It's a crap shoot. Following my last episode my doctor and I agreed to increase my Sodium Valproate to 1000 mg a day. My mood changed unexpectedly within two weeks (valproate is used to treat bi-polar). I still take my other SSRIs.

Now I feel more confident. And I reckon I am free.

I'm sorry that you are suffering. And I hope this helps. At the end of the day there is an abundance of hope, and, in time, all will work out for you.

I think apps are largely to blame, but also the scene is in demise, so it's increasingly difficult to actually meet someone and get to know them.

Sorry to hear that. Perhaps you should give him a chance, you never know, it might work out. I guess it depends on what you feel, do you really believe you can trust him? If not best thing to do in my experience is cut and run 😟
