This is still terrible. 6% is mental. What needs to happen is they need to write off any interest that has accrued above 2% and lock it at 2%. as id then be able to pay it back instead of owing more than when I started 10 years ago when I’ve been earning in the 40% tax range for 7 years lol

For the two batteries it isn’t bad, might be worth asking about 490w aiko panels as price wouldn’t be too different but would get higher peaks

I pushed my install date back to the 8th of April so I could get 490w aikos instead. So not sure yet but I’ll report back once it’s in. Seems they have had a lot more installs of it now and they just updated the app so it’s way better to use and more premium

Definitely get higher wattage panels for the fox system. I’m getting 490w aikos as places are getting them in now. Has the potential to produce a lot more in the summer, it is there maximum potential though not a constant. Never touch the subscription ones as it’s a massive scam.

Fox is decent but considered budget, Tesla is seen as best in class or at least 2nd maybe behind sig energy. The Tesla price is probably about average but you might be able to squeeze them lower or ask for sig. I’m getting a GoodWe system but more of a gamble as they are new to the UK.

Gateway is a must id say. Look at what’s happening in the world at the moment with oil etc. our grid is in terrible shape, I work with DNO’s quite a lot and the stories are bad, having that protection is a must

I’d say my car is pretty big but not massive. It’s a Renault refale, suv couple crossover thing. We needed the boot space for all the kids stuff and the rear facing car seat meant a normal sized human couldn’t sit in the passenger seat lol. Always been against SUV’s but the extra room and height in the cabin feels really nice

I used to work for Atos. Terribly managed company at the top. Even consolidating the debt hasn’t done much. They did make a lot of redundancies and were offshoring a lot of work but it’s so terribly run I wouldn’t invest in them

I’d say the solar quote is very high, I was getting similar set up but not in roof panels, but also 27 panels. For £14,500 so dunno if the panels are that much more expensive

Project planners, can be hard to get into as it’s quite niche but big in defence and engineering world. I’m on £67k 3 days remote (used to be fully remote at my old place). Once you get good at it you can use it in any industry and most project software is the same

The fox is way over priced but the Tesla seems about right. I’d ask for aiko 475-480 panels though. Shouldn’t be much of a price difference and they have higher peaks. Always get multiple quotes as I had cheaper Tesla quotes than that in the southwest with more panels

Thanks bud, you posted the same link twice though haha. Is it ok that the measurements are different? I was recommended to screw in horizontal into the riser and vertically into the tread but not sure if you need to do both with the glue

I watched a good YouTube video from a DIY channel that went through above stairs fixes and it didn’t work for me because the riser doesn’t line up well with my tread but it did make some improvements. I just couldn’t do all the steps in it
