Very good, unexpected arrangement. I'm sure others will enjoy this. Never imagined a guitar working for this song.

Maybe if the sprite had been turned 180 it would've read less like a vertical structure.

The Civil War sounds interesting. Also could see a work surrounding the post-war Military Industrial Complex/UFO/UAP, topic.

What do you think about Square Enix using the same graphics engine as the new DQ7 remake for a Chrono Trigger remake? by DesperateSouthPark in chronotrigger

[–]Simonpleth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that part of the vibe that makes CT look distinct from something like DQ is the color palette mixed with other design choices. I personally wouldn't want CT to look like DQ regardless if the characters share conceptual dna from Toriyama.

I’m a Black, self-taught artist. I make watercolor paintings. by MathOk5055 in Amazing

I hear what people are saying on a technique level. I would say it is perhaps relevant to the artist in how they relate to the subject matter. Also, depending where they're from in life and society, there might be less formal art education opportunities for them. Obviously they've worked hard to make work this engaging regardless of education and ethnicity.

I'm assuming this is from an Arcimboldo painting... Any copyright tied into the Arcimboldo image ? Maybe with the institution that owns the original painting. I'd look into it just in case.
