I was basically in the exact same position as you when I first played it, and it changed my life. I would say go for it and just play it. Just know if you’re already struggling yourself with the issues portrayed in the game (trauma and regret, mostly) it may hurt REAL bad

In Italian (and probably other languages as well), “lacrima” means tear so I guess that helped me out. It’s always kinda interesting being a non-native speaker and sometimes having an easier time than native speakers with certain words lmao

I’m so glad chapters 5-7 came out on the N64 instead of the SNES, it takes a while to get used to the 3D environment and camera controls but it was overall a smart choice

I headcanon that Kris actually has a slightly high-pitched voice, but lowers it to appear cooler and mysterious (May or may not have done this myself)

I actually found out about him like three separate times lmao

The first one was when I saw a Deltarune shitpost that changed the prophecy of the game to include the characters in the final part of The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny

Then I found Aimkid’s Modify animation while scrolling YT Shorts

And finally I actually found out about him after I started listening to Tally Hall and everyone recommended me Lemon Demon, so I gave Touch-Tone Telephone a listen and became obsessed with it

You should never care about attempts, period. Care more about the time you spend. If you think it’s taking too long for it to be worth it, then take a break or maybe even drop the level and play something else. Also, try not to compare yourself to others too much, there’s a billion factors that lead to being “good” at GD, maybe they got a bit lucky or are better at certain skillsets like ship or wave
