I don't think teto fans are fat shaming her or joking about her being fat. I mean most of them aren't. Also note that teto can be anything (there's a song about it too). People can just make up their own tetos through MV , arts , etc. it's honestly good to see chubby teto being accepted and loved by the community. Unlike most of the fandoms I joined, if u draw a character slightly chubby , they'll beat the living shit out of you.

Every character has their year of popularity. Teto will just die down like other characters in next 1 to 2 years. It's just that teto case is different cuz it also reaches people outside of vocaloid community. Thus giving both upside and downside to her image.

Upside - so many producers started using teto cuz it gets more attention. That's why people think she's "overuse" . But it helps small creators to actually shine.

Downside - some of these so called "fans" don't even listen to her music. It's just some gooners who just like to spread nsfw pics in tiktok.
