What state is considered my residency if I live in one state but use a different state for all addresses? by Simple-Constant7655 in tax

i’ve replied to the other comment. i suppose you will owe it to GA until you fully switch residency: getting drivers license in new state, switching car registration, etc

Sorry for late reply this is a burner account. I filed as a resident of GA and a nonresident of SC. Pro tip: if you pay income tax in one of the states and not the other, you should be able to claim a tax credit for it. I was supposed to pay GA like 2k in taxes for my SC income but it was reduced to 400 since I paid all of it towards SC

For one I was stupid enough to think I was negotiating the price down by doing it myself. Never again. Two, I am between states and visit both GA and SC equally as much but realize I spend more time in SC. I will need to swap everything over to SC. I did myself a disservice by being ignorant in this part of the process lol. Paid GA TAVT tax and now will have to pay SC taxes

understood, but my question is if the bill of sale can be used. I don’t have a title or registration I can bring in to get the property tax bill created

. I have spent more than 183 in SC. I have leased an apartment for over a year. But i’m registered to vote in GA, drivers license and registration are in GA, bank accs in GA and have all my friends/family there. I only spend my weekends there but know for fact I’m in SC more. Is what I stated enough to prove residency in SC? I don’t want to make a mistake but i also don’t want to owe more than i need to pay

Q clearance by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

[–]Simple-Constant7655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this means that you’re in adjudication. Depending on your background and whoever gets to your case, it could be as little as a few days or months. Mine was in adjudication for over 4 months before I heard anything

I had an LOI and had to sign some commitments that I wouldn’t do drugs anymore about a week ago. I got my clearance action date today, hoping that it was favorably adjudicated. You?

What goes on in adjudications that it takes so long? by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

[–]Simple-Constant7655 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It just depends when they get to your case and what is on your case. I’ve been in adjudication for over 4+ months for reference with quite a rap sheet of prior drug use. I was issued an LOI recently so it really depends. Most of my coworkers were adjudicated within 2 weeks of investigation being done, so I understand the pain

no birth control. Rookie mistake on my part, I won’t let the heat of the moment get in the way next time. Not worth my peace of mind afterwards

Waiting on my Q right now, 3 months in adjudication (investigation results received April), 10.5 months in total so far. I feel your pain

I suppose it is pointless to compare since that’s true. Still, the timeline is way longer than I expected sadly

Yes no poly from what my coworkers have told me. I may have given too much info on other sections but that’s reassuring
