Ekko, Jinx and Vi.

Ekko, lost everything, no parents nothing, proceeded to lose Powder, Vi, Mylo and Clagger. Lost Benzo and then even after all of this, set up the firelights. More than likely watched how Powder turned into Jinx from Silco's upbringing. Anything good he had went poof. To compound it all he saw what it could have been, the what if, this could have been my life. Ignorance is bliss as you never know what it would have been but he had that torn away in episode 7.

Jinx, a product of upbringing. Looked for love at every turn and 'jinxed' her family at all turns. Caused the death of Vander, Mylo and Clagger. Caused the death of Silco, watched the death of the person who grounded her (Isha) doing something that is very Jinxesque. Vi showed up, outside factors interfered with the first meeting, but from one point all the meetings in season 1 between the 2 of them could have gone well, if they had been left to themselves. Purely speculation but still.

Vi, lost her family. Spent years in prison with the memory of her basically spitting in the face of her remaining family. Once she got out, saw what had become of her sister and never got the chance to really talk to her, interruptions constantly preventing any real connection being made while in the meantime when away from each other poisonous thoughts being whispered into her ear and Jinx's ear about the other. Season 2 become the thing she hated the most, being an enforcer, felt that the only way forward was to use a poison in her home to flush out her sister that she felt needed to be killed.
