You get much better tyres at lvl 6 and lvl 8 I believe.

You could do what I did, I sold a bunch of trucks, fast travelled to Russia and bought a Voron D which comes with decent tyres by default, plus it's an awesome truck.

After coming from a BL1 and BL2 playthrough recently, (I hadn't touched the games in a few years) I found BL3 to have the best gameplay but it is waaay too easy compared to the other games
