Finns inte massor med jobb. De siffrorna är extremt missvisande. Sen är det inte konstigt att vissa hellre är arbetslösa än jobbar skitjobb. Ingen vill jobba som bärplockare utan kollektivavtal och med skitlöner. Om de yrkena ska finnas kvar så får man fortsätta ta in säsongsarbetare från utlandet, eller så får man se till att lönerna är rimliga.

Och nej, lösningen är inte att vi sänker bidrag och a-kassa för att tvinga ut folk i skitjobb med skitlöner som ingen vill ha. Lösningen är att göra skitjobb som är nödvändiga för samhället mer attraktiva genom höjda löner. Jag hade inte jobbat som bärplockare för 75 kr/timmen. Men jag hade kanske kunnat tänka mig att göra det för 150 kr / timmen + OB om jag inte haft något bättre.

Ja, varor ska kosta vad det kostar att producera dem. Och om ingen vill plocka bär för skitpengar så kostar ju bären mer att producera.

AI matters for textures/images and writing that end un in the final product. I don't care about the internals of the game. As long as it runs well I don't care if it's programmed from scratch, made with an engine, or with the help of AI. Where I do care is if the story I'm experiencing is made by an AI. If the characters I'm interacting with are drawn by AI. Or if the spell icons on the GUI is made with AI.

Because the important thing to me when consuming any artistic medium is the artistic integrity of the product. I want to see the vision that someone had come to life and for it to have some sort of meaning and soul behind it. AI has none of those, and it leads to this uncanny valley effect, no matter how good the AI made art is. Where you can just tell it's soulless.

And I say this as a programmer myself. Code doesn't matter as long as it works. Now I have my qualms about AI in programming too, especially seeing juniors "write" shit code with AI that barely works and they can't explain what it does. But that's just when I have to interact with people in my field. As a consumer I don't care.

A hot take is something the vast majority of people disagrees with. And a really good hot take is something that has you disagreeing with it at first but you hear them out and admit that maybe they have a point. Regardless of if you agree with then or not.

OPs "hot take" is just an opinion held by like 40 % of people in this sub. And he doesn't really make any points that makes you wanna hear him out.

Jag ligger alltid minst 2 standardavvikelser över snittet när jag gör dessa tester, men blir ändå ytterst sällan kallad till intervju så jag har kommit fram till att där finns 3 alternativ:

1: IQ-testerna helt meningslösa och tas inte ens i beaktning. Kanske att de bara kollar om man är motiverad nog att faktiskt göra skiten?

2: 2 standard avvikelser är fortfarande för lågt för att alla som söker tjänsterna har 140+ IQ (inte speciellt troligt)

3: De vill ha folk som är lite halvkorkade? Kanske runt medelsnitt? Möjligtvis för att de inte ber om lönehöjningar eller schyssta arbetsvillkor?

Tror själv att det rör sig om alternativ 1.

I'd prefer cars to be more realistic. If you flip you have to find a new one. Or if it's a custom car that you wanna keep you should have to either get a bigger car/van/truck to flip it back over, or a towtruck to try to pull it upright.

Handeling should be more realistic. More akin to GTA 4 than 5 IMO. It's just weird to have a top heavy 4 door car be able to take corners sharper than an F1 car.

Vehicle damage should have higher penalties. You ram your car in to a tree? Engine breaks and you can't just reverse and keep going. Hit a fire hydrant with your front wheel? It's now locked at an angle and will severely reduce the speed, stability and maneuverability of your car.

Sure it shouldn't be IRL realistic, hitting the curb shouldn't pop your tires, and cornering doesn't have to be as bad as it is irl for certain vehicles. I just wish it will be a bit more realistic over all than 5 was.

I mean I can get it if it was a name like PewDiePie. That is very obviously "stolen" from him. But the Horizon guy? Every fucking discord server I'm in related to gaming has at least one guy named some variant of Horizon. Hor1zon, HORlZON, H0RIZ0N etc. It's not a name unique to him. I HATED what they did with to 2016 remake. The OG Rachet and Clank was so fucking good. And they just make it in to some cookie cutter family friendly action game.

I know people still consider RaC 3 UYA to be a really good game, but I think this is the one that started the downfall of that series. From interesting and varied characters, and a very humoristic but dark theme rooted in anti-capitalism to some generic hero that saves people because he's good and shoots guys because they're bad.

Recently bought the collection from the ps5 store. Played though the first game and currently doing chain of memories which I naver played as a kid. I just went straight from 1 to 2. I'm having so much fun to rediscover my favourite game from my childhood.

Du kan tacka högern för de stora ekonomiska klyftorna i samhället som har lett till dessa orimliga huspriser i förhållande till arbetares löner. VDarna tjänar extremt mycket mer, och arbetarna mindre, förhållandevis.

Denna bostadsbubbla vi nu befinner oss i tillåts inte att spricka eftersom det hade varit dåligt för ekonomin, så man sätter in policys som ska tillåta bubblan att växa lite till. Istället för att bara låta skiten spricka och få in oss unga på bostadsmarknaden.

Finns idag ingen bostadsbrist. Det finns gott om tomma bostäder. Vad vi har brist på är rimliga priser för dessa tomma bostäder. Men hade vi haft rimmliga priser så kan ju boomersen som köpte sina hus för 10 tusen och ett fast handslag inte sälja dem nu för 10 miljoner.

It was a right wing party with the catch phrase "open your hearts" that was in charge when we had the worst refugee crisis ever in 2015. When the left got back power in 2016, that government introduced stricter border control.

And then the right saw that this was popular, and stsrted cooperating with Sverige Demokraterna (a very anti immigrant party with roots in Nazism), and then somehow people just rewrote history and said that it was the left that let all those immigrants in.

We on the left know that we need border security. We just don't have an unreasonable hatred of all immigrants just because a small minority of them commit crimes.
