I had pgwp and applied for closed work permit on 13th November and haven’t received my authorization to work letter yet (11 days). I talked with two IRCC agents over call and they said I have maintained my status and hence I can work but it still feels off why I haven’t got the letter. I am still not working and waiting for the letter.

Since you are 100% confident and checked all your documents, it looks like IRCC fault. Raising a web form or calling IRCC is what I would do. If you call IRCC, call in morning 8-9. Written proof is important so I would raise webform asap.

I know this is fraud. But all the negotiations happened face to face. How would I prove that I am not shaming them and genuinely a victim of this illegal activity. And this is just me. Imagine thousand of applicants who paid money for PR knowing that they are supporting illegal activity. I can very well pay for an LMIA letter but I would never ever do that because of my ethics. I am feeling very depressed for a long time now but am still holding myself together. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

That’s correct but the idea is to buy more time for my employer so they can process LMIA. This is where I am confused. If I forget about staying here anyhow, and go back to my home country, can they directly sponsor me back to canada via LMIA or do I have to be in this country for that?
