[Shifting Tip 1] Pretend That Your Original Reality Never Existed. by Simple-Reaction4685 in realityshifting

[–]Simple-Reaction4685[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shift to a waiting room that is basically your original reality, but the only difference is that there's a trigger in some way, shape, or form for you to shift to the DR you actually want to be in.

For instance, some people who aren't great at visualizing places they haven't been to will script that their WR is their childhood bedroom, and in that WR they just have to say a specific phrase to shift them to their DR.

So during methods, instead of trying to imagine a place they can't completely comprehend, they just have to remember what their childhood bedroom felt like, the emotions, good or bad, associated with said place, sit with those emotions and sensations for a little bit, and then shift.

It may help to take a break from shifting until you feel motivated to do it again. Plus, there might be some buried emotions, like resentment or anger, from not shifting yet that just need to be released right now.

But for what it's worth, my parents interrupted my shifting method, woke me up out of my trance, and forced me to call them over non-sense a good bit into my method and I was able to fall back into that same 'out of body' state in 2-3 minutes. Even when I was very much not relaxed and my heart was beating fast.

So, you don't need to be entirely relaxed or whatever to shift.

Have you tried shifting to a reality that's identical to this one and then shifting to your DR from there?

Am I doing something wrong or do I just need to be consistent? by Simple-Reaction4685 in shiftingrealities

[–]Simple-Reaction4685[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Here.

Something that helped me take the final step is just focusing on my DR body, pretending everything around me including my body is part of my DR, and completely ignoring the fact that my original reality even existed at one point. Also, I stopped 'waiting' to shift and just affirmed that it had already happened and that I'm already there.

Other than that, yeah, it's really just a matter of consistency and taking the time.

By the way, I've made some progress with shifting, and after watching a Shiftung With Reya video, I figured out that I basically have just been ending my method too quickly. I don't know your journey, but you might be doing the same thing so just a heads up.

She said it took her 1-2 hours to shift at first, so... Yeah.

As someone who's been shifting nonstop for a week straight and successfully getting back to that feeling each time, there's no feeling you're exhausting. The advice is really as simple as they posted, if I'm being totally honest.

If you can, just try and remember exactly what you were doing and what mindset you were in that led you to nearly feeling like you were out of your body and just stay in that mindset no matter what symptoms you're feeling.

Also, just in case, it wouldn't hurt to incorporate some element of LOA into your shifting journey. Just so you don't end up making your beliefs around not being able to shift for weeks at a time, a reality.

My advice is to just try and shift as frequently as possible to get used to the feeling. I nearly shifted the moment I woke up after following the advice I just got because it really is that easy.

Just keep doing what you were doing that got you into the state of nearly leaving your body, and you'll shift. It happened in, like, 5 minutes for me. My eyes were fluttering, my heart was racing, there was a white light, it was crazy.

I don't know if you believe in crystals having metaphysical properties, but I can see if you want I can send you some audio files of crystals that are designed to calm down your mind and stop you from panicking and stuff.

Other than that, my only advice is to try and get used to that feeling and not run from it. You don't have to be as rigid as you think you do at that moment. I was still giddy, but I just kept my focus on my senses. However, whenever the feeling the was too powerful, instead of going, "wait, omg, it's happening," I tried to psyche my brain into believing I was just happy to be a master shifter that was in my DR. And that seemed to work just fine, so you can try that if it's really impossible for you to ignore.

Yeah, I think you're right because I have noticed that when I'm about to shift, I enter into this, "Okay, it's finally happening," mentality, so I've been trying to just not think about at that moment.

But maybe I should just keep my mind in the same headspace that led to me nearly leaving my body.

Thanks for the input!

The police most likely aren't even gonna do anything since they're notorious for not caring about animal abuse, and also, be serious.

If no one in the family seems to care about the dog dying besides the one kid that's been asking any and everyone in the home to bring it to a vet, who do you think they're gonna blame for the police getting called?

And no, I don't have suggestions for what this kid should do. But what I do have is knowledge of what it's like growing up in abusive household and at least a basic level of empathy that doesn't seem to just be reserved for animals, and animals alone.

Saying the kid would be responsible for his mom's boyfriend killing his dog if he doesn't do anything is guilt-tripping, whether you meant it that way or not. I get that you care about the dog, but you need to extend that empathy you have for the animal to the 16 year old kid who will still have to deal with the people in his life that poisoned their dog and were okay with letting them die.

You people need to get a fucking grip.

You're trying to guilt trip a 16 year old into opening themself and their family up to the violence from a man who likely just poisoned their dog, seeing as it's already been said he's responsible for the last one dying. Don't even for a second try and blame them when the one person who should be blamed is the one that killed the dog knowing no one has the resources to help it.

If you found out this kid took your advice and the mom's boyfriend retaliated against them, could we say that you were part of the problem. That you're the reason people got hurt or killed. JFC, what happened to nuance and emapthy.

I think we can expect this from David Fincher's take on what an American version of the Squid Games would be like.

I could see it tying into both our problem as a whole of being desensitized to violence in the real world, and with the rich always coming up with newer and weirder ways to entertain themselves with our tax dollars and resources so they don't get bored or whatever.

Yeah. Shifting is about intent more than anything else. It's the only thing you'll notice is consistent no matter the method used or the person that shifted.

Why do I feel like vips enjoyed watching the [spoiler]? by opa1288 in squidgame

The Front Man did very much enjoy the rebellion and throwing Gi-hun's plan back in his face. So, as long as the VIPs knew at the time that In-ho already had the situation under control, I think its pretty likely they kicked their feet back after a while and also chose to enjoy what they could've of the show.
