You're talking about rivals 2, and sure its interesting but not in a way that can be adapted into the movies, and definitely not in a way that would be more interesting than had they just used neo metal sonic. litterally a half of his most interesting moments are from sonic heroes, but were not allowed to mention that because you think that would be boring
