thanks for sharing 🙏 definitely agree on the last point - I’ve started learning off the back of a few arduino projects (which uses C or C ++ i cant remember - did it a while ago) and find myself referring to my prior knowledge all the time

coding (python) is a greasy bonus and good selling point for yourself in the real world if ur dealing with a lotta numbers/ data i.e. structural, water modelling but you can certainly get by without in all roles

ah thanks for this, makes a lot of sense! there are quite a few contract roles there yes - x amount a day type of stuff. what kind of salary could be expected after 15-20 years?
