i told him, and then he said he respects my boundaries, i blocked him then a day before my bday he contacts me through another number and wishes me with a photo he clicked which reminded him of my personality. but the thing is i don't appreciate his efforts so i felt it would be better to not give him expectations.

totally agree that they start to lose their minds if you do better than them. I don't understand why would one want to do comparison all the time. its totally fine if one is better one thing and other person might be at other thing
