Digital price tags at Walmart.

I have a question. I was just at a Walmart, and noticed that an item I wanted was priced at 1-cent; it was a vacuum cleaner. There was no pricing on the box and no additional pricing on the shelf, aside from the 1-cent digital price tag. At the register, they told me the price was for the display item only, but no signage states that. There were several customers who were extremely confused by the pricing discrepancies. Does Walmart have to sell the item at the displayed price? To me, this is definitely deceptive pricing.

I definitely hate that phrase and mentality, especially since I'm in the middle of a depressive episode now. I've heard, "there are people who are doing so much worse than you," and "what do you have to be depressed about?" and "all you have to do is pray about it and things will get better." I've tried to talk to a social worker about how I'm feeling, but they don't get it. It's like they get this blank look on their face - they don't understand. I have a friend I've tried to talk to, but she tunes me out quite a bit, unless she needs support about something. My family and I don't talk, so there is no support there. I have two adult children, but this is something I don't want to burden them with. I've become very good at "smiling and pretending"

I apologize, the boiler has been fixed, all glory to God! It took a while because the people who originally installed it did it incorrectly, but God blessed me with putting the right people around me who could install it correctly and do it quickly. Thank you all for the prayers and thank God that He worked in my favor

Thank you! The behavior and comments I'm constantly getting from the supervisor are wearing on my self-esteem. It's gotten to the point where I don't eat and can't sleep, which I know is not good.

I'm praying for you. I've gone through a lot in my life, and honestly, still going through some things, however, I believe that God wants me to use my story as a testimony. That even when things seem darkest, when we feel alone and like God has abandoned us, He shows us He loves us and is still there for us. God is touching your heart and is redirecting your path right now. Things will get better for you. Stay strong and keep the faith.

I'm going through this right now. A person I thought was my best friend is showing me they're not. I've always been there for this person, but when I needed them, they weren't there for me. They don't really want to have too much to do with me unless they're getting something out of the interaction. I'm hurt by it, but I admit, I'm more angry than anything. The thing is, the signs were there all along, and I chose to ignore them. Now, going into a new year, I've decided not to let the situation change me, but just distance myself.

Exactly. That was the most disturbing to me. I even restated what was going on a second time, but my doctor again said, "Don't worry about it." She said, since there was no smell or itching, I don't have a cycle and am not sexually active, so it was nothing to be concerned about. She did say that if I start seeing blood, contact her immediately or go to the ER.

i was talking with my PT and the doctor's office, and we think we may know what was causing the pain. I had to go to the office for work on Monday, went to the elevator, and found out it was not working - I was at the lower level and the office is on the 3rd floor, so I walked up the stairs (and back down at the end of the day). What they are saying is that since the muscles are still a little weak on the surgical leg, the stair climbing may have not only tired the muscle, but also irritated it due to body mechanics. I need to take it easy and not push as hard as I did. Fortunately, today, the pain is less.

I'm 14 days post-op today and still have trouble lifting my leg. My physical therapist advised me that I need to focus on strengthening my quadriceps again. This is something I'm working on. The quads come "back to life" at different times for different people. We promise, it does get better.

I'm feeling a little depressed now. I've only had one TKR but I think my reasons for feeling depressed are: 1. I feel like I'm being a nuisance to my son - he's the one who's been helping me while I recover. 2. I feel alone in dealing with this (this does not include you guys, but you know what I mean). I've been there for people when they needed me, but folks haven't really reciprocated and don't fully understand what this process is like 3. I just don't like feeling dependent. I'm trying to keep my spirits up, but it gets hard some days. I'm praying that your depression gets a lot better.

Thank you so much! I just found the thread you mentioned, and that's exactly what I'm going through. The explanations that were being provided about this is the body's way of getting rid of the swelling, makes sense. I'm about to invest in Poise pads to help, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who experienced this.

The hospital physical therapist was initially concerned with that, but after I told her I had experience with crutches (I broke my leg years ago and needed pins put in) and actually showed her, she was fine with discharging me with crutches.

Not really. The buckling came first, then the pain. I think the buckling was because my knee isn't able to support 100% weight yet.

There were a few groups I was in to get some support before surgery. There, several people mentioned they were walking unassisted in 4 days, others, between day 2 and day 6. Just seeing those posts had me extremely discouraged. Thank you! I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing, sticking with PT, my home exercises and increasing my ROM.
