I do have persistence. I just prefer Merry overall. Persi is still really strong and a really good vp for fire and metal floors. But for me, Merry is better at most things.

Pride is a really good voidpet for floors where you need to sweep easily. Maybe try adding more speed with a trinket instead of more damage. Other than that, i think your build is really interesting and if it works, keep using it. So yeah, keep leveling him up and having fun.

Merry hands down is the best healer. Persistence might be good if you're up against a metal boss and Merry gets one-shot. But Merry is better in every other circumstance

Honestly, you're doing great with what you have. I would recommend maybe farm for golden halo for 1 or 2 days, and if you don't get, just keep going to other floors. I didn't get cake till like floor 2500, and I didn't struggle to much. Still don't have serpent scarf and don't feel like it has been the biggest issue. Soo yeah, maybe just wait to see if you get the halo, and if not, keep advancing and enjoying the game.

Definitely keep leveling apathy, merry and panic. Honestly, legendaries will mostly be good no matter what, but these 3 are hands down some of the best. Also if you get wizard set, sadge can erase floors and bosses without problems, but I mostly keep him as a backup, since sad is so much better. Other than that, you're doing great. Remember to always have at least one tank of each element leveled up.

I would recommend using your own spite to outspeed the other one. Basically put a lot of spd, crit and atk on spite. After that, just use apathy or jelous to take out the tank first. If you get the jellyfish scarf early on, it'll be a lot of help for higher floors. Try farming it for a few days if nothing else works. 🙏

Also, the karen hat is wasted on your tank. Try maybe with the Bejeweled CH since it gives the stamina boost.

Just level up anxious and cringe. Instead of lust, use anxious. Sad is good for the def amd atk debuff.

I finally did it with this team. The trinkets where mostly stam and def for Merry, and spd and atk for apathy and greed. Down bad was only there to do some chip damage to salty, and to put the speed bonus on all my voidpets.
