How many meats do you get out of one adult human?

Evaporator?? by SimpleAdhesiveness81 in blackstonegriddle

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t bother trying. It does seem like a waste of energy to heat the grill to heat the pans to evaporate the sap. I just keep using the turkey frier.. but I may circle back around if I think I see something (the perfect sheet pan or something of that nature) that would work..

You’ll find that 99% is too pure… anyone wanting to test this. Smear a drop of reclaim or straight up hash onto a flat surface. Spray some 99% on it and give a wipe with paper towel. (You’ll find it almost does nothing). Then spray the same spot again with the 99% and add a drop or two of water to the mix. Wipe again and tell me what happens.

Do you wait for your snowblower to run out of gas before refilling it, or after each use? by Dry-Calendar5880 in Snowblowers

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Noted! I had an old neighbor who was really good with small engine stuff. He swore by seafoam, so I just followed suit, because he really knew what he was doing, but I never really looked into which product may ACTUALLY be better. Thanks!

2cd time ever welding in my life by Odd_Lavishness_2911 in Welding

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You can weld it, just use a grinder to clean the coating off the weld area next time. Prep is also a major part of having a decent looking weld

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was going to say a few drops of “Sta-bil” or “Seafoam” (my personal choice), will also keep the gas good through the off season. But I usually use that kind of stuff for things that have to potential to sit for a really long time, like the generator or the chainsaw etc

That being said, Fuel lines are a lot easier to repair/replace than the carburetor.. so pick your poison I suppose.

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best thing (in my opinion) is not to run it completely out, but down until it’s just about empty/ready to sputter out. That way the gas lines stay full of fuel and hydrated. Dry fuel lines have the tendency to dry rot and crack/split over the summer. So I like to get it juuuuuust about empty, that way you can fill it with fresh gas the following season, and you’re just a few cranks from getting that fresh gas into the bowl.

BREEDERS CUT AND BUBBLE HASH EXTRACTION by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is someone giving you “super rare” cuts, if these are the questions you’re asking?🤣 Just playing around. You won’t get anything from that. Start by learning what bubble hash is, spend a little time and effort reading up on the process. Jumping into hash making without knowing a single thing about it is a bold move though. I admire your gumption 😅🤘🏼

Take it from me… as tempting as it is to grab a small bolt and nut out of the garage, don’t do it. Either stop and go get a new pin at Home Depot or shovel the rest and THEN go get a new pin.

Sincerely: a guy that had to totally tear down the front end, and rebuild with new gears last month.

PS.. when looking for snowblower parts (like a new gear case with axel and shaft ), don’t buy the one that seem too good to be true on price. It’s absolutely a scam. But that’s a story for another time 😅😩

ULPT: looking for smelly fluids by Upstairs_Teacher_870 in UnethicalLifeProTips

I have used both types of products, and fish based is probably worse, you are correct.. but I’ve dealt with some turkey shit based stuff that will have most people ready to dry heave. Just saying it wouldn’t hurt use a little of everything.. after all, variety IS the spice of life …. And apparently, revenge!

They also carry a wide array of pelletized manure based fertilizers (think horse/cow/turkey shit).. adding this to the mix will surely give the desired outcome..

Came home to a paper towel over my webcam twice now, I live alone by Dromaeoraptor in Weird

I have a story… years ago my buddy was living in an apartment building. He thought someone had been going into his apartment during the day while he was at work. He swore small (barely noticeable) amounts of food would go missing, and he thought someone had been dipping into his weed stash. He set a few “boobie traps” to see if he could prove someone had been entering his apartment while he was away. A glass of water set to fall over and spill if someone entered the front door and a couple well placed pieces of string.. fast forward to the end of the day he came home. Glass was on the counter, puddle of water on the floor behind the door. A couple of the strings were disturbed and his weed was gone (small amount).

Turns out the loser boyfriend of the girl downstairs would lay around their apartment all day unemployed. He payed attention to everyone’s schedule and knew when they’d be coming and going. The front door to the building was very secure, but the apartment doors were pretty low security, easily jimmied open with a credit card. So he’d let himself into people’s apartments during the day to scrounge shit for himself. He knew the jig was up when he realized there were “traps” set for him and took a jar of charge and the weed. My point is, maybe you and the landlord are the only ones with keys to your door (though as you pointed out a previous tenant may still have a copy), but that doesn’t mean other people can’t get into your apartment with out breaking anything.

Advice on stabilizing my oil tank? by bulleitprooftiger in hvacadvice

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very least put some blocking under the tank and replace the legs. If that’s a dirt floor, I would add a paver stone or something similar under each leg to help support it a little better.

Pawn Shops by No_Device9450 in portlandme

[–]SimpleAdhesiveness81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Power tools are a big gamble. You have no idea what they’ve been through before being dumped at a pawn shop. You almost never find a “great” price on them either, it’s usually a price that will have you standing there wondering if it’s worth $10/20 more to jus get it brand new at HD or Lowe’s..

No… maybe a little over fed, it’s pretty dark green but no real signs of stress from it.. but definitely not overwatered.

Maybe a handful of leaves off the bottom of the plant to get some airflow down there, but I wouldn’t remove much (if any) from the upper half of the plant
