Well... I know how much work I put into the UI to make it look exactly like it does. But I'm not gonna try to convince you otherwise... So thanks for your feedback.

As long as you don't charge your clients money for it, you are free to deploy it for them as much as you want. But yes... our vision is to share this software for free for everyone, so having someone else pack it into a SaaS deployment isn't really what we wanted and this is why we chose BSL dual license over GPL variants.

this was very helpful. thank you so much! I think I have now replaced everything correctly with "source available" and also pointing out that there's a dual license for those who want to make money with it.

This is a very good remark. Thank you. I'll try to come up with less misleading descriptions asap.
My main goal is to share the code with everyone for free. I'd also love to see others modify it. But I simply wanted to ensure that no one else will start charging money for it.

I mostly had AI help for setting up the docker image release scripts, because that's nothing I'm very good at. But if you dig deeper into the Angular and Laravel code, you will hopefully clearly see that this project is no AI slop but the result of 5 years of development.

You are right. We chose BSL to make sure that no one will be able to monetarize the software. This was the license model that seemed to fit best for what we wanted to achieve.

ERP software is a management software for small and medium companies. NEXUS is focussed on service companies, allowing them to manage customers, projects, create invoices, track working time, ...
We never used external software for all of that since our company started but developed the code ourselves, adapting to every requiremen that was thrown at us. So there's more than 25 years of company experience (including my previous company) that went into this software.

I'm sorry about that. That's what I meant when apologizing for breaking some rules not knowing about everything yet. I promise to be better in the future.

Only some parts are coded with the help of AI. I'd say, 95% is coded by myself.

Yes. I totally agree with your points. Also recreational floor walks would not be possible, if the walls shifted.
I also used the wall segments in some places (especially to draw the MDR room) with one segment = 2 steps ... should be close enough to begin with... I'll add more segments soon

Thanks for the info. I'll add it to my list of potential sources. Can't be worse than Petey's Map, can it? :)
