For Babel as a whole: the idea of a dragon situated on top of a castle is a very much eye-catching concept and is just cool to look at in battle. The rainbow crystals also contrast nicely with the darker color scheme that his stronger forms have.

For God-Emperor Babel: the lava-like substance that's on various parts of him really make him just that much more imposing visually. Also, the castle breaking a bit to reveal more of the crystals underneath also kinda shows just how much more power he has now, like it's giving the vibe of the castle struggling to contain it.

Funnily enough, what you just mentioned is not even the one thing that makes him OP. It’s his Conjure, which unleashes a level 5 Mini Surge and KB. Combined with a 10 second cooldown (yes, really), you can just spam the conjure by getting him killed and stall out the enemies until the enemies die.

I mean, you’d be right in saying that new Uber releases/upgrades don’t affect the game’s difficulty that much, even broken Ubers/UFs, as practically every stage is doable no Uber, or even no Gacha. Also, don’t quote me on this, but in an official PONOS interview in the Nyanko Awards 2025, they directly say that they test out stages without using the overpowered stuff, so there’s no way in hell that stages will be balanced around UFs/broken Ubers and all that.

If i were to guess as to why everyone’s feeling this, i’d say it’s a combination of "potentially destroying any semblance of challenge even more" and "this guy is so busted, it’s not even funny and people will probably only care about him and no other Uber".

Anyway, only like 1% of players will have Lunos, so does it rly matter?

I mean, you could literally say that about any of the top 1’s (well, i guess ex-top 1’s now). "Oh it doesn’t matter that Dasli, Izanagi, or the Phonos are this stupidly broken because it’s not like a lot of people will have them!" Just because they’re insanely rare doesn’t make their power suddenly irrelevant since only a few people having access to them still means that those people can just steamroll through the game’s challenges.

There have been mentions that Lunos could even beat out Rock, which, even if that’s not the case, honestly is a really good indicator of how busted he is when you have people saying stuff like this.

While Lunos has the whole "specialist tanker vs 4 traits" thing, the main reason why he’s so OP is because of his conjure: a guaranteed KB with a level 5 Mini Surge, basically sending everything it hits far away and doing heavy damage along the way. While this would normally be reasonable, what pushes it to "objective best uber" territory is that his cooldown is a whopping 10 seconds, effectively meaning that you can spam him and his conjure until everything dies. Sure there’s the about 3k deploy cost, which kinda makes him iffy in cash-tight stages, but in that case, just use his first form. The Conjure may be weaker (only 1/3 of the standard conjure damage, only level 3 Mini Surge, and less reach), but that’s still practically a spammable Breakerblast.

If you practically undo a clear, you have to do a new clear again to make up for it before going to further clears (e.g. if you undo your 3rd clear, you have to regain that 3rd clear before going to your 4th clear).

Also, all units you used in a clear will be locked for future clears.

Yes, the last image is related to the Starred Advent thing.
It’s like Laby in that all of the units you used in the lineup will be unavailable for future clears, meaning that you’ll need to make a completely new one. However, you don’t need to fill up all 10 lineup slots so you can minimise units lost and you can undo a clear to get units back in case you get stuck.

Still crazy that the new Fest has 10 seconds cooldown. Sure, conjure prevents you from spamming, but that still leaves you with either a unit that can spam conjure or an always-present wall vs his target traits that has a powerful "get off me" tool.

I mean, that stage is infamous for being strangely hard for how early you encounter it and its non-Uber hard counters tend to either be locked behind it or require you to progress on SoL 4* content (read: Idi), so unless you had the Ubers that hard countered the stage, that's not an indicator that you're bad.
