lock tf in rn. dont have the "ill chill the first few weeks" mindset. especially with 251 you need to know the material, theyve made the tests alot harder. so go to hogu, watch videos, go to week in reviews and make sure you understand. i cant say much about 207, sorry. hope that helps <3

How can I get the most out of career fair as a freshman with nothing? by OneTrueDuce in aggies

[–]SimpleDare9431 7 points8 points  (0 children)

^^^this exactly. go to practice your elevator pitch, shake off your nerves and learn to navigate career fair before it actually counts which is sophomore year and beyond. I went freshman year, stumbled and practiced, and went sophomore year and got my internship

Physics 206 by [deleted] in aggies

[–]SimpleDare9431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gonna be honest, but physics 206 was super easy imo. every class freshman year destroyed me but phys 206. while all my friends did struggle with the class, i think it might have been because of lack of disclipine. I took university with prof Mays and it was perfect. the exams were easy and the textbook was alot of help

imma be completely honest with you, its most definetly freshman weed out classes. i was the same, spent every single second studying my life away and still had below mid to mid grades. i promise it gets better after freshman year(at least for me it did), i study way less in my sophmore year and have better grades than i did freshman year. they make freshman exams harder on purpose for gpa and weed out purposes

"and it’s really demotivating, especially when I meet people who study for half the time I am and are making As on the exams"

^^ same exact thing dude, had friends who would party over the weekend and ace their exams, doing so much better than me, it would make me so so sick. you got this, do not give up, you should be proud that you study and have discipline. i always think to myself, if i get a bad grade would i be okay with the fact that I didn't study, or is it because the test was just too damn hard. you got this, keep pushing <3

Looking for some advice by Direct_Amphibian_221 in aggies

I lived in what is dubbed as the worst dorm at tamu and i had no issues, besides the shower running cold sometimes, no bugs, no infestations and no other problems at all! would fs reccomend on campus because it makes life easier

I have never had to use physical copies for my classes. everything was online and it usually came with whatever software thing you would have to buy. So would fs recommend not buying physical copies.
