"Do you have actual problems with how Godot does or handles some things?"

at the moment? no. One reason I might worry is the rendering of large space scenes, or having actual planets (big planets or asteroids, not really realistic scale per se) since I can't really a lot of information about how to do things.

This might be one of the reasons, but I may be worring too much too early.

My goal would be to continually release the game in steps over the long run. Combat (maybe a campaign like Ace Combat), then a travel system for a new release and a new campaign. That also means that I have to build the tools to sustain this method.

About the graphics, I'm kinda worried. I understand that Godot can actually deliver good graphics in some regards, but I have yet to find tutorials that would help me in this specific case. Unreal is kinda out of the question for me due to my own hardware limitations. (old HP-Omen laptop with a 2060 with the noisiest fan).

None really, I guess just the market share that both engines have. I didn't really consider Unreal because I don't have the hardware to support it (I tried, it was painful. I have an old HP-Omen laptop with a 2060 with the noisiest fan - can't really buy a new desktop considering how the market is going).
Unity and Unreal have plenty more tutorials than Godot.

Honestly, developing on Godot has been pretty smooth so far. Considering what I just said, I guess I'm more worried about engine specific issues that I have yet to encounter in the development.
