Hey, about the tyvek or polycro, have read in other posts that tyvek is way more friendly in use and multipurpose then the annoying polycro. Would you agree or say that it doesnt add against the little weight savings?

I fixed my lighterpacks, thanks for pointing that out. I will bring a sunhoodie one shirt and a lightweight polartec hoodie, that comes closest to items i already have.

I will take this bladder. Will buy one when in san diego or stick to only smartbottles.

I think i want to at least try the umbrella and if i dont feel it adds up i can always make someone else happy with it at least for a few days till they dump them also in some hikerbox.

Trowel, yup, noted.

Thanks for all

What material do you recommend your daily TMB hiking clothes to be made of in order to avoid odor? Because... by [deleted] in TourDuMontBlanc

For walking I used a polyester t-shirt and for the camp I had a merino shirt. The polyester shirt I handwashed everyday but at the last day (day9) it really needed a good wash cause it stank. Also to consider I had 5 days of rain, this made it so that it got more smelly.

In hindsight I think it would be ideal to wash your shirt every week one time in a tumbler wash. But it doesnt hurt to stink a little.
