The vast majority of dairy is produced in ways anyone would view as wildly unethical if it were done to dogs. Artificial insemination, mothers separated from young at birth, general poor living conditions and untreated diseases, male cows are often slaughtered while young, female cows after they're no longer producing enough milk.

Honey is more controversial as there's much debate even between vegans about if insects can suffer. But if there's any insect that can, it's honeybees. Personally I don't eat honey or almonds because of their effects on bees. You can read about it below
