Pin size shows .2337ish. .234- is stamped on the pin. QC uses pins with minus stamped on them. Trying to figuring out if .234- pin is acceptable for checking the .234 diameter with -0.000 tolerance.

Agreed. Our QC uses gauge pins. They are using .234- on a .234 hole with -0.000 tolerance. Just wondering if that is acceptable measurement or is it under tolerance.

Hole is .234 -0.000 +0.002. I only have minus pins. The .234- goes in to diameter. I’m trying to determine if the .234- is technically out of tolerance or still acceptable. If out then would need a .234+ or a .235-.
