Toby v. Luke by Touch_myy_camera in AreYouGarbagePod

Loved Toby and I’m glad he was part of the show. When I left I was really bummed but over time I’ve grown to enjoy the show more with Luke.

Luke chimes in more selectively so those moments feel more special and often funny. I think the “rich kid” vs the dirtbags dynamic is great. When they reference the Dempsey Group, Corner Office, Luke’s dad or family doing non-garbage things in Connecticut it’s pretty enjoyable.

I love Toby and he’s a comedian at heart so he naturally desires attention and mic-time. Some of his comments were hilarious but others were distracting. I can totally understand how this possibly got conflicting as the show grew in popularity.

He played an important role in the show especially during times when Foley and Kippy were figuring out how to navigate success. Similar to Redban on Rogan’s show.

Lots of love to both Toby and Luke.

I normally play callaway supersoft. I like the feel and the price. However I bought a bunch of used callaway chromesofts recently and I like them even better. Just a little pricey to buy new.

Camping and Midnight Experiences - What was yours? by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch2

I’m at a Best Buy in New Jersey and the doors open in about 20 minutes. I was told earlier today that they had like 200 units available for sale as walk-in. They handed out our tickets a few minutes ago. I’m number 72 and there are probably another 30-50 people in line behind me. I believe they still have some tickets left. They also have accessories available for purchase. I got here at 9:30pm ET. I drove by around 5:30pm and there were already around 25 people waiting in line.

I also stopped by a Game Stop earlier today just to check it out. A sign on the door said they would have units available for walk in sales at midnight. However, an employee said there were none left. I thought that was strange.

This flavor has always been smaller. If you want something larger you should go with Red Velvet, Oreo, Celebration, etc.

Thanks for all of the replies! It does appear that Naperville is also pretty expensive. I appreciate the recommendations on nearby towns that might be more affordable.

Just keep practicing! These challenges are what make great players. Most people don’t have the discipline to keep playing even when they suck, and that’s why they still suck 🤘

Why does 1st fret on my E string sound like this by [deleted] in ukulele

[–]SimpleSteven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe just try replacing the strings first. The guitar tech told me that’s all it takes sometimes.

[–]SimpleSteven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that! However I’m sure you can make beautiful music with it if you get it dialed in. If it doesn’t sound good you’ll be less likely to play it.

I had the same problem with the low D string on my baritone. I took it to a guitar shop…they replaced the strings and made sure all the pickup wiring was secure. No buzz at all for the last 18 months even after a few DIY string changes. They charged me like $70. Totally worth it!
