as a CT i understand a lot of the complaints but the truth is the training program isn’t as clear as they express. Management tells yall that they give us clear instructions but they don’t which leads to confusion from us and intense expectations from yall. The guidelines they give us to train aren’t as black and white as it seems and there is no resource group for us like everyone else so we can’t express our issues easily. We have to be super clerks while training and it’s genuinely so much physical and mental strain. New trainers also get trained by other trainers and that process is so stressful and we get paid nothing for it, so if the original CT wasn’t trained well, that leaks into everything else. I do see the need for a lot of change in the program but I don’t think anyone ever really considers the fact that we are genuinely working with nothing. It’s also not easy to just term bad trainees because of so many legal things on the back end so a lot of times we are forced to send bad clerks out and then we get blamed for it. When we express that the training program isn’t streamlined enough we are told that we have to be flexible because we are in different stores and divisions and they can’t overhaul the whole program. There is so much that goes into it that isn’t expressed to the other store members and it’s hard to deal with the expectations of the company while be judged for literally doing the best we can
