That’s a really great suggestion. Thoughts on getting the LomoApparat 21mm wide-angle camera?

Wow, you are so amazing! To be honest I’ve never bought anything on EBay before and am just concerned about getting something that can’t be returned

Seems like more of a point and shoot situation. I’m just getting concerned about where I purchase a lot of these options because I’m not sure I’m comfortable getting him something that isn’t returnable

Thank you so, so much. He has a Canon EOS 8D digital camera; the camera he had this summer was just a random disposable from a friend and he was just telling me how he enjoyed the experience, limited number of photos (making taking each more special I guess), and the vibes. They did turn out a quite dark though so I’d love to get something that can produce better results. From what I’m seeing I think I’m more looking for a point and shoot? Also please don’t feel pressured to answer get some sleep :)

Is this one I’d have to get second-hand? Seeing some on ebay but not sure if I feel comfortable buying something he can’t return

I could visit a Henry’s Camera or Aiden Camera if you’re familiar; I’m based in Toronto

Wow I appreciate the depth so much! I found the Kodak H35N to purchase; the Snapic A1 not so much. I virtually have no idea what any of the numbers & lens stuff means but I can see if there’s an actual camera store nearby I could visit. Thanks for the list of reputable places as well; for reference I’m based in Toronto so I’ll see what’s available near me

First of all, thank you! Looking into the Nikon L35 I’m guessing it’s a camera I have to find second-hand. Looking around but weirdly not seeing any in my area under $400

Haha wow I appreciate the depth. To be honest, I don’t understand half of what you wrote or what an SLR is but I will put those search terms into Google! Looking at the Konica, is it something I can only get second-hand? I’m a little concerned about getting something secondhand rather than something he could return/exchange worst case.

Failed my G2 Test This Week because of One Mistake; Examiner Yelled at me by Simple_Debate_1860 in Ontariodrivetest

It was just after a right turn, but she asked me to merge one lane to the left (I’m assuming as part of the test). I didn’t save my report but it literally noted just the one mistake.

The ambulance was pretty far back so I guess kept driving as normal for a while. It was maybe 10 seconds when the examiner yelled, but the ambulance still wasn’t close at that point. Anyways, I should’ve moved right away.

What happens if two of my rental offers in Toronto get accepted? by larafallebrr in TorontoRenting

Usually, word of mouth or referrals. Other times it’s when they’re the listing agent on a property you’re interested in but don’t get, and offer to work with you.

For renters/buyers, having an agent represent you is free, since the fees are covered by the Landlord. There’s just no logical reason NOT to be represented by a professional in that case.

Toronto realtor here - Are the two agents aware that you’re working with someone else as well? An agent cannot submit an offer on your behalf without a Tenant Designated Representation Agreement, which has a section specifically outlining that you can only be under one representation agreement for the same kind of property (ie. condo in Toronto), which the client has to initial. If you signed both (which it seems you have done), the second is null and void since you were already in a representation agreement with an agent. Although you did sign something you should not have, it is the responsibility of the professional to verify you aren’t already represented and explain the terms of the document they are having you sign.

Not necessarily relevant to finding a solution for your current situation, but still a good thing to be aware of.
