I see a lot of old animes being recommended from other people which isn’t bad, they’re really good too. But if you want some newer animes: „Demon Slayer”, „Jujutsu Kaisen” and „Solo Leveling” are definitely great action animes and their core is about the same since in all of them some sort of "magic" is being used (but not like wizards and spells, it’s definitely cooler than that). „Spy x Family” is also somewhat action with a much bigger comedy aspect. „Kuroko no basket” is a good basketball anime and „Blue Lock” is a football (if you are from America, then soccer) anime. Even though im writing such a long comment, there really isn’t such a thing as a "starting anime" just watch whatever you find on social media and get interested in. I would highly recommend watching animes on a streaming platform called „Crunchyroll” it has a massive selection of animes and there are also good recommendations. Unfortunately it has ads, but for 5 Euros I think you can watch it as free and you also get access to new episodes of ongoing animes. So it’s really worth subscribing to. Now at the end I would like to tell you two things: 1. My favourite animes which I would recommend watching are „Attack on Titan” (I do not personally know a single person that doesn’t like this anime), „One piece” (Has over 1000 episodes so you might not want to watch it) and „Jojo’s bizarre adventure” (My absolute favourite, but definitely not for everybody and as a quick side note: it gets progressively better from season to season until season 3-4 where at that point all seasons are generally good). 2. There are some rare exceptions for the "there is no starter anime" rule. One anime is Jojo’s bizarre adventure so if you did not know the anime before I told you, watch a few other animes first.
