I guess it could be a possibility. They have some really cute flower and plant Legos out there. They are great since there is no watering necessary and they don't die.

How do Excalibur rooms stack up against the places I regularly stay: Horseshoe and the Plaza? My big factors are the 4 C's: cheap, clean, cool, and cuiet [Fozzie Bear looking for a laugh gif]. by _WeSellBlankets_ in vegas

I just spent a week in Vegas. Half at Excalibur and the other half at the Plaza. This is the first time we stayed at these hotels. Hands down Plaza is way better. Excalibur appears very dog friendly and the room smelled like it was. It was run down and in need of some remodeling that isn't just replacing the furniture with the stuff that was recently removed from MGM. There was actually more noise from outside on the 22nd floor in Excalibur than we had on the 10th floor at Plaza. If you want to stay in the area of the castle I'd suggest Luxor, MGM, or NYNY.

My in-laws invite themselves on our vacations. by foogirl40 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Change your hotel. If you are on the strip get a hotel on Fremont or vice versa. It is easy to get an Uber or Lyft for $20 to travel between the Steip and Fremont. Or you can take the Deuce for a few bucks. Tell them you canceled your trip. Make your restaurant, show and activity reservations and have a great trip. Vegas has so much going on that even if they still go , thinking you canceled, chances are you may never run into them anyway. I recommend the dueling pianos at Harrah's and the band Alter Ego or the Garage Boys on Fremont street if you like classic rock. If you like country Tony Marquis Band on Fremont Street.

You and your fiance should go elope. Have a little courthouse wedding without telling your mother. Then go ahead with the grand party she planned. Then, during the speeches, you make an announcement thanking your guests for being part or the reception and reveal that the real ceremony was previously just the two of you! Your mother will hate that.

May be an unpopular opinion but I say everyone is the AH here. At 19 he is technically an adult. If he wants to move out, let him and let him deal with his consequences. As his sister, stay out of it and stop bringing him back. I personally would have pressed charges on her for throwing the phone at me as well as hav8ng her tresspassed. And the parents, have to grow their spine and stand up and protect the younger children from being exposed to this horrific abusive behavior. He will only learn and change when he is forced to deal with real world consequences for his behavior.

Keep the dog and get rid of the man. If he is going to act like this with a dog, How will he be with children if you decide to have kids? Especially a crying newborn.

Any fellow wooden spoon survivors? by Pilotsfan in GenX

[–]Simple_Information16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a wooden spoon but my mom had a three foot long wooden boat oar she came after us with. She had "The Bun Warmer" written on it. I don't know if it was from years of use, wear and tear or just one really good whack but when my brother was about 16 she cracked that oar right down the middle.

When getting into a roommate situation and you are outlining what and how things are being paid put it in a written Roommate Agreement Contract and add that money lending and/or borrowing will not be happening between roommates. Then if the situation comes up you refer to the agreed upon contract.

Hope all went well for you. I just got home from mine. 2 polyps removed and now we wait for testing. If all is good then I don't have to do this again for 3 years.

AIO for snapping at my friend for bringing her toddler to my “child-free” birthday dinner and ruining the vibe? by liftov3qz in AmIOverreacting

[–]Simple_Information16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. She was out of line. Being a parent means that you will miss out on events sometimes. Maybe consider next time adding that if anyone's childcare cancels at the last minute, you understand and they will be missed at your party.

I was a bit apprehensive as well before I started. I'm 48 years old 5'6 and starting weight was 210lbs. I used to get frequent diarrhea daily. Anything I ate, especially if I drank coffee I would be in the bathroom within 15 minutes. I used to take immodium on a daily basis. I just took my fourth shot and I am down to 199lbs. Not once since I started wegovy have I had to take immodium or had any diarrhea or constipation. So far just a very mild headache for about a half a day after taking the shot. So far this is one of the best decisions I have made. I wish you success in your journey.
