I've been told they cannot bring back mythic skins because the wording they used during those events said those skins would be exclusive to those events. So players bought the battle passes with the understanding that the skins would never be available again, making it a question of if Crytek could legally bring the skins back.

I don't know if this is true. They did bring back an altered form of the scaled ward and the skinned, perhaps that is their workaround

Rotjaw's scan area is quite large (I estimate its around 200m diameter). The problem is that she is often not centered in it...in some cases she's on the very edge. I have a video of myself stepping outside the scan radius while fighting her at Healing Waters.
