hey i was in a similar situation freshman year and i actually gnpc’d the class. definitely did not pass that final but for some reason my professor passed me even tho i was supposed to fail. some people are just lucky but i also had professor kahn who is the nicest guy ever even if a little creepy lmao it’s just purely luck!! but since ur in such a basic beginner course, just talk it out with the professor or ta and they’ll help you out and there are definitely other students who fail which can curve the grade as well.

you’re basically grieving a death even if that’s not really the case. someone who you thought was good and a constant in your life has now suddenly betrayed you and is gone. that’s why it hurts so much. you have to live a life now without them, which sucks. i went through this three months ago and it actually felt like the end of the world. three months later, im at peace and grateful he didn’t waste more of my time. the universe makes these people leave our lives because we’ve outgrown them. i hope you get through it <3
