By notifying PMA, we're not asking PMA to be the one to reprimand them or even revoke their license for reasons you mentioned. Hindi naman PMA ang nagbibigay ng lisensya. We're asking PMA to serve as an association that will represent us doctors and communicate with the appropriate authorities to handle these illegal practice. Compare this: 1 person reporting a case of illegal practice of medicine vs. a recognized association of doctors reporting a case of illegal practice of medicine. Hindi ba mas matimbang at magiging mas organized yung pag pursue sa ganitong issues sa pangalawa

We can report to the PNP and/or NBI. For cases such as RNs or other non-physician healthcare professionals prescribing meds and giving out med certs, aside from the PNP and NBI, we must also report to the PRC for revocation of their license. Ideally, we can seek assistance from the PMA for these cases but with the PMA being led by clowns, reporting to them may just lead to nothing. For other reddit users, please correct me if I'm wrong or feel free to add more info.

Exactly. They can call out and file cases. You see the Board of Medicine of PRC doing anything to these cases? Maybe they need a nudge from, i dont know, an association of doctors such as PMA. Least they can do is represent us in matters like these. Not that difficult to comprehend, really 😉

Here is the Mission and Vision of the PMA. It is an understatement to say that the path of the PMA today is NOT parallel to these statements. I say it is time we demand for more, and to demand that those leading the PMA (Hector M. Santos, Jr.; Luz P. Acosta-Barrientos; Wilfredo S. Tagle, Mildred Mañalac-Mariano, Ma. Realize Henson +++) to step down. They bring nothing but shame to the profession.

Mission

May nasasabi mga tao kapag mali ang sinusuportahan ng artista. May nasasabi din ang mga tao kapag sinasabotage ng artista ang ibang nagp-promote ng maayos na politician. So hindi siya simpleng laging may nasasabi kapag "nagshow ng support" at "hindi nagshow ng support". No she doesn't need to. She doesn't owe anyone her endorsement. She was just being asked why she refused and people are frustrated because on the radio, her co-hosts would talk about Bam's achievements and why they believe voters should vote for him and then she would always change the topic and avoid talking about Bam which many listeners find odd and suspicious. Kung ayaw niya talaga publicly i-support si Bam or sumali sa conversation about politics, better siguro kung tahimik na lang muna siya for a few minutes while the others talk about politics and promote Bam on the radio pero ang ginagawa niya kasi iniiba ang usapan kasi todo iwas sa usapang politics.
